Thanks to The Barkwood Inn for Collecting Donations for FOCAS!

Big thank you to The Barkwood Inn Pet Resort in Charlton, MA for choosing Friends of Charlton Animal Shelter as their charity!

FOCAS has received lots of GREAT pet supplies including toys, treats, blankets, food, litter, paper towels, and more from Barkwood clients!

The drive has now ended. We sincerely appreciate the support! Woofs and Meows!!!
Thank you everyone!

Pet pics with Santa at Cornerstone Bank (Charlton) was a big success this year! Thank you to Cornerstone Bank's Sabrina and Rebecca for going above and beyond again to support FOCAS! Santa's visitors included 34 dogs, 3 cats, 1 rabbit, 1 tortoise, and 3 children raising close to $400 for FOCAS.

Special shout out to Santa (Keith) and his elf (Jaimie), FOCAS Board members, Jimmy, Eric, and Cindy who all make this event so much fun every year. Thanks to volunteers Kerry, Monique, Ann and Lisa too!

Have a lovely holiday and see you next year!
Thank You Choose To Be Nice Club at Charlton Elementary School!

Charlton Animal Control Officer, Ann Sellew, and FOCAS President, Lisa Westwell, were delighted to meet with the Choose To Be Nice Club on Jan. 17! The Club members made wonderful beds and toys for the dogs and cats staying at the animal shelter. They shared stories about their pets and asked questions about the shelter. We all talked about the importance of being good pet owners.

The Choose To Be Nice Club is an amazing, caring group of young people and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Thank you to Nancy Pecore and the rest of the Club teachers for inviting us!
